“We are thrilled to announce Leena Joseph as our new Director of Finance starting June 10th, 2019. Leena has a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1990 and her Certified Management Accountant designation in 2003. Leena has held a number of senior leadership roles in finance in the public and private sector. Most recently Leena was the Senior Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting for Cymax. Prior to that she was the Finance Manager of Research and Special Projects at PHSA from 2007-2015. Leena was responsible for overseeing $100 million dollar budget and close to 2,500 separately funded projects. As part of her role with PHSA Leena also managed the finances of the BC Mental Health Foundation, BC Transplant Foundation, CAPCA, BC CDC Foundation and the Women’s Health Research Institute. Along with strong financial management skills Leena is also a strong, compassionate, people centred leader who has led high performing teams and large complex transformational projects. She’s energetic, passionate and wants to make a positive difference at the BC Centre for Ability.
