We would like to welcome Colin Hearne to BC Centre for Ability as our new Leader of People & Culture. 
Colin is a seasoned Human Resources professional who began his career in community development in the non-profit sector and then moved to a career in Human Resources, first as a recruiter and then in multiple HR functions at UBC. Colin’s breadth of experience includes overseeing benefits, professional development, staff engagement, on-boarding, orientation and labour relations. Colin has a background in public health and kinesiology and was most recently an HR Generalist with the Richmond Oval.
The ongoing dedication of resources to this role reflects the Centre’s commitment to continue sharpening our focus towards employee experience, culture, recruitment, retention and other priorities related to our workforce and the people within it.
Colin’s experience, capabilities, passion and people-centred approach to his work makes him the ideal candidate for this position.
